As a lifelong maker, I really didn’t need another hobby. I discovered glass, however, and my focus changed dramatically: nothing had ever produced in me the excitement or offered up the potential as much as fused glass. I was hooked instantly, and I’ve spent my time since then working out ways of getting ideas out of my head and into glass.
I am drawn to bright colours, new techniques and a large amount of experimentation. I am naturally untidy, distracted and very impatient, so I like to take a small idea and make it big.
I want to celebrate the joy that comes from finding the tiny details, the often-overlooked patterns and textures that nature has scattered all around us.
